Theory about Vulcans in terms of writing and story design

I've come up with a writing theory from watching recent episodes of Strange New Worlds - there shouldn't be more than one Vulcan in the same scene.

Spock, in both TOS and SNW, plays well off any other character from the cast but especially Kirk. It's an odd couple, an auspicious pairing, entertaining because they're different. When humans interact with Vulcans there's usually an interesting back and forth about instinct and logic, the Vulcan can raise his eyebrow and say "highly illogical" and the human can express the merit of emotional drive. It's the same with Tuvok, he's paired with Harry Kim for the exact same reason.

But, when two Vulcans speak to each other, it's boring.

Logic dictates we must do this, I believe your logic is flawed, agreed my logic has been disproven, good now we're doing the best logic. When two characters speak to each other like they have the mind of a calculator, it's not entertaining.

For this reason - the correct number of Vulcans in any given scenario is not zero not two, but one. That's my one Vulcan theory.
