Jobs in America working remotely from Sweden

Any advice and what's your opinion on getting a job in GIS in America while working from Sweden (remote)?
I'm asking because I want to get started with a career in GIS having both had a part time job, and studies from university and higher vocational education. I already have a job in a different but similar field and i've been on the lookout for something in GIS and I feel like I get really close but in the end there's always someone else that beats me to it.

I'm not to sure if it would be possible so would like to hear your thoughts and opinions.
