Podcasts covering Qanon and far right terrorism

Let's share podcasts that cover these dangerous lunatics. Please add more in the comments! Adventures in HellwQrld - one of the best sources for keeping up to date with qanon. It took me a little while to get used to the hosts, but they've grown on me. They're really good at sticking to the facts and reporting on current qanon news. Qanon Anonymous - better hosts but these days they're branching out into covering other cults and conspiracy theories, which doesn't interest me as much. I still keep it on my playlist and listen to the episodes that catch my attention. The Necessary Conversation - two liberal siblings talk current politics with their right wing parents. The mother is more like qanon adjacent; the father is an angry, rabid Trump supporter. One of my favorite podcasts. The Q-Dropped Podcast - interviews with people who have lost loved ones to qanon I Don't Speak German - thoughtful, intelligent discussion about the far right. Unfortunately, they've stopped making new episodes for the time being; but they've said they're going to come back and have been releasing episodes from the Patreon archive in the meantime. Worth listening to back episodes; I didn't even find them until after they stopped recording but have enjoyed it. It Could Happen Here - daily podcast that covers a variety of current events through a left wing lens; many episodes cover the far right and the problems they cause. From the creators of Behind the Bastards; many of the hosts are young but have intelligent perspectives. Also available in a weekly roundup with fewer ads. ------------ SERIES ------------ Older series that have ended but worth checking out if you haven't heard them. The Assault on America - A documentary series from host Robert Evans investigating the Capitol insurrection. Stories of instigators and extremists hellbent on subverting democracy. Will Be Wild - the forces that led to the January 6th insurrection Death by Conspiracy? (BBC) - How one man was drawn into online conspiracies and how they led to his death War on Truth (BBC) - Russian disinformation about the war on Ukraine Q Clearance: The Hunt for Qanon - An investigative podcast series that aims to uncover the true identity of QAnon American Radical - the story of Roseanne Boyland, who became radicalized and died at the Jan 6th insurrection

Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts Says That Some Parts of Project 2025 Are Secret

Project 2025 is a plan spearheaded by Heritage Foundation, a Christian Right juggernaut, for controlling (and in some cases dismantling) federal agencies in the event that a Republican wins the presidency.

klanned karenhood https://whnt.com/news/madison/madison-public-library-cancels-moms-for-liberty-event-citing-capacity-issues-attorney-threatens-legal-action/

Rumor says the event is back on. Fire department and police overruled on capacity issues. One brave soul said he'd show up in bad drag suggestively eating bananas at attendees/bootlickers.

This Instance is worth a look. https://lemmygrad.ml/

This group all seem to have multiple accounts on multiple instances. I almost pointed it out in my first thread here, but it wasn't clear at first what was going on. If you look a little closer, you'll see they post a lot wild shit there. But, they also spam a lot of their stuff all over Lemmy without the lemmygrad.ml instance. They post altered articles and inflammatory disinformation at a rate faster than even some of the bots can compete with.

Sound of Freedom: indie movie that Qs are getting wound up about. www.rottentomatoes.com

A good friend's q-lite mother and sister are apparently raving about this movie. Stars Jim 'Jeebus' Caviezel, who is going to Q cons and talking about adrenochrome and such. In theaters now. It's, supposedly, a true story about Tim Ballard, who runs something called O.U.R. Operation Underground Railroad. Tim Ballard is a Q. I don't closely track Q mythology, but it sounds like the standard child sex trafficking and adrenochrome torture stuff. Here's a [Rolling Stone article](https://www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv-movie-reviews/sound-of-freedom-jim-caviezel-child-trafficking-qanon-movie-1234783837/) about it. Anyone got the scoop on this thing?

Should we include left-wing conspiracy theories too? What about tankies?

I registered this community as a Lemmy backup for Reddit communities like /r/qult_headquarters and /r/qanoncasualties as well as /r/againsthatesubreddits. Recently I stumbled upon a thread that indicated that the original Lemmy developers were denying the Uighur genocide, which to me is just as dangerous as all of the right wing propaganda. I'd like to include antivaxxers and some of the tankier elements here as they all stem from an authoritarian mindset, but I'm not sure if this is appropriate. I do know that the vast amount of online conspiracies are right-wing in nature, but felt like putting in some leftist stuff too.

Hate on Display™ Hate Symbols Database https://www.adl.org/resources/hate-symbols/search?keywords=&sort_by=title

Ever wonder about the meaning of a bumper sticker on the tailgate of some redneck's male enhancement device?^*^ This is a useful reference to look it up. A local tattoo parlor posted some neo-nazi ink a while back and it came in real handy. ^*^ as a redneck, I'm allowed to judge the fuck out of them

Gotta admit, I'm a little disappointed

About a week now since I joined Lemmy. It seemed to me at first that place like this, where the tech knowledge prerequisites are a little higher than Reddit or Twitter, and being a lot of Reddit refugees, would be a bit of a liberal haven. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against discourse, although these days that is trying at best. But, in the last few days I've been running into a lot of bullshit MAGA style nonsense on Lemmy. And, I gotta say, that's a bit disappointing.

-meta- content and allowed posts

Can we please allow anecdotal posts? I.E. three more houses on my road have added blue porch lights in the last couple of months. Also, venting and support requests for those dealing with the pod people? I wish I had snapped a pic of the orange Charger with oath keeper and punisher crap all over it I saw at the liquor store last weekend. It would have made a good post as well.

Attacks on Electrical Substations Raise Alarm www.nytimes.com

This trend particularly concerns me because it's so easy and appears in the Turner Diary. I figured it's likely to become more frequent as we approach the next election.

The Brain Washing of My Dad https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FS52QdHNTh8

This is a long video, but a good one. Definitely worth listening to in the background. It explains a bit about how right wing media got to be how it is, as well as a story about bringing people back from right wing extremism.
