Welcome, open discussion and how this works

Hey, welcome to this little experiment. I'm not sure where it's going to take us but let's do the most we can with it! The point of this community is to post Reddit threads where we will then organise a brigade. Post a thread, Please preface your title with **[RAC]** (Reddit Action Front), so that people seeing the thread on their feed see where it's from and can take action quickly. In the thread posted to Lemmygrad, feel free to share arguments that worked, ask for help if you're arguing with someone and you're not sure where to go, etc. The point is to organise and achieve a united front to take hold of the conversation in threads. For the success of a brigade it's important to have people go there and participate in the linked threads; it won't do to have 1000 subscribers but only 10 participating people. However, it is understandable that sometimes you feel fatigued from the liberalism and need to recharge your batteries. Please just understand that we hope people that subscribe here also participate.

Great job comrades! We got wolfballs shut down! https://www.reddit.com/r/RedditAlternatives/comments/10pfuwb/wolfballscom_is_shutting_down/

There was a call to arms post about wolfballs, then like a couple days later wolfballs admin closes wolfballs. In the original post, wolfballs admin complained about an **organized entity** like a government or a cooperation coming after him. Wolfballs refugees are fleeing to exploding-heads.com it seems like which is another Lemmy instance

RealLifeVillains: stalin. Vandalize this slanderous wikia page. https://reallifevillains.miraheze.org/wiki/Joseph_Stalin

Wikipedia is hard to vandalize due to having to 10000s of editors and 99% of the editors being cia, but this isn't wikipedia so it's the cia's soft underbelly wiki. It has no citations, not even cia approved citations like al jazeera. If nothing else, we can easily make a page about their lord and savior obama and add citation to lemmygrad.

How do you get around Reddit's censorship?

Reddit uses reCaptcha when registering an account, which often blocks proxies, like tor. Then I have to wait at least a day so that I don't get bombarded with reCaptchas. Next I have to carefully make posts so that Reddit won't shadowban my temp account. I fuck up the last step a lot so I end up getting shadowbanned.

Is this really a good idea?

Do we really need to be spending our valuable time "raiding" other threads (i.e. just posting a bunch of troll comments in them)? Just seems really pointless and bad for optics to me.

How about we brigade the EnoughCommieSpam subreddit and speak positively of communism in the comments?

cross-posted from: https://lemmygrad.ml/post/176411 > They have no interest in dialogue, and they have been consistently attacking us, our communities, and harassing our members. > > Let's use this post to share threads which we could intervene with comments, not attacking anyone but by unironically responding to their arguments, engage with each other's comments, upvoting, imperializing EnoughCommieSpam into becoming a new GenZedong. > > This will piss off many anti-communists and we will have fun in the process. It's a win-win.

Strategy discussion

cross-posted from: https://lemmygrad.ml/post/175651 > As /r/genzedong stands in the shadow of Reddit's raised fist, our community faces tough choices about how to address the situation. Reddit is one of the most valuable resources we have; its large user base and integrated community allows for targeted outreach, education, and agitation. On the other hand, the ubiquity and popularity that Reddit currently enjoys is not evergreen. Reddit, as a noble house in our modern, digital feudalism, will eventually be exhausted by the broader contradiction of which it is a part: that between the masses of internet users and tech companies' centralized, feudal control. This process is already underway, as seen by developments in Web 3.0 and federated forum structures like [lemmy.ml](https://lemmy.ml). > > Nevertheless, there is still much more runway for these contradictions to sharpen before the change becomes qualitative and we enter a new epoch of digitally represented commons. So, given our position at this stage in the contradiction, we must facilitate its resolution by establishing stable channels by which we can shepherd our comrades into decentralized communities like [lemmygrad.ml](https://lemmygrad.ml). **We must recognize both aspects and bridge them - investing in** [**lemmygrad.ml**](https://lemmygrad.ml) **at the same time that we maintain a focused yet sufficiently nebulous presence on Reddit that, at key moments and places, offers a path away from its feudal lands.** > > Freedom from the feudal structure also allows us to overcome the barrier between in-person organizing and digital organizing. **While there is no replacement for concrete action inside a united party in the real world, it would be folly to neglect how the nature of the commons have shifted as our technology and society has developed.** Federated forums are helpful infrastructure and may play a key role in developing scalable party communications and outreach. This requires our attention.

Let’s talk Discord (or other IM platform)

We need a Discord at some point if we want to get anything done on Reddit. Lemmygrad is a great site, but the instant message of discord is so much more effective. I’m open to (and 100% encourage) any Discord alternatives (Matrix, Telegram, IRC, whatever works) ![](https://lemmygrad.ml/pictrs/image/511849f0-8f86-4a80-bc83-8081439c978f.jpeg)

[RAC] We Need To Help Spread the Word About Lemmygrad as Much as Possible!

We need to go to any leftist subs that GenZedongers have been fleeing to in order to spread the word of our transition to Lemmygrad and regroup as much of our community as we can! Anyone who hasn't yet deleted their Reddit accounts should go to any communist communities (including MLMs, Anarkiddies, Etc.) to help the cause.

Compiling a List of every Remaining Alt-Right Reddit community

I know that a good majority of reddits' Alt-Right Subs are now gone, but i feel there are plenty of communities out there that have still yet to receive the Ban-Hammer, Here is the list so far; **Transphobia:** - /r/FemaleDatingStrategy - /r/PinkPillFeminism - /r/askpinkpillers **Extreme misogyny:** - /r/MGTOW - /r/TheRedPill - /r/Muslimredpill - /r/againstwomensrights - /r/Asktrp - /r/bonecels - /r/shortcells - /r/Dogbrains - /r/memegender - /r/Pus5yPassDenied - /r/Pus5yPass - /r/MensRights - /r/Blackpillfeminism - /r/whereareallthegoodmen - /r/ProMaleCollective - /r/shortsell - /r/femlnazis - /r/AntiFeminismProject - /r/Kotakuinaction - /r/Kotakuinaction2 - /r/TumblrInAction - /r/SocialJusticeInAction **Miscellaneous Ultra-nationalism:** - /r/AznIdentity - /r/Bakchodi - /r/EasternSunRising **Alt-righters:** - /r/4chan - /r/ActualPublicFreakouts - /r/DarkEnlightenment - /r/conspiracy - /r/The_Congress - /r/StupidPol - /r/AverageRedditor - /r/Doomer - /r/MetaCanada - /r/BadUnitedKingdom - /r/Tucker_Carlson - /r/AltUnitedKingdom - /r/Politicalcompassmemes **Religious extremism:** - /r/Catholicism - /r/TrueChristian - /r/Prolife **Lib-Righters:** - /r/Anarcho_Capitalism - /r/FragileCommunism - /r/GoldandBlack - /r/ShitStatistsSay **Free Speech Absolutists:** - /r/WatchRedditDie - /r/SubredditCancer - /r/Reclassified Obviously, since this list is a bit old, I don't think this list will be entirely accurate as to which communities are already banned. Also, the chances of some of these communities getting touched by the Admins can differ from Possibly to Near Impossible. Anyway, are there any more shithole spaces yet to be touched by the Admins?

[RAC] this fucking subredditdrama post (china bad, tankies are whoever I don't like, no left unity, anarchists are always cool and good...) https://www.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/ixuqlf/tankies_seize_anarchist_subreddit_anarchists_are/

Drama notwithstanding (the whole thing with the founder of GenZAnarchist turning ML and repurposing the sub as they were still top mod), there's a lot of bullshit in the comments. I'm planning on participating to help rectify some people's understanding but I'm hoping I'm not along in this, as it would be a losing battle if I were by myself. In this case I think we're better off going straight into it with facts and the C I V I L discussion libs are so fond of. I would like to be sarcastic with some of them but I'm not sure it's going to bring anything good. We're already being demonized with the subreddit thing and in the comments too.

[RAC] an anarchist streamer is looking to debate a Marxist-Leninist https://www.reddit.com/r/DebateCommunism/comments/irlftf/debate_me/

Just putting this out there to give it some traction. If you feel knowledgeable enough to defend Marxism off the top of your head, consider doing this!

[RAC] I think we need knowledgeable people in this DebateCommunism thread https://www.reddit.com/r/DebateCommunism/comments/iobw7h/personal_issues/

OP is a working class POC and feeling let down by the liberal left. I feel we could help them out with a comprehensive Marxist answer, but I know I don't have the knowledge needed to write it. Are there people here who can bring out their best and help OP out?

Breadtube on Reddit - posting more communist videos

I just watched a few videos of Hakim and realized he doesn't get posted on r/Breadtube. Neither does bayarea415. I'm not much of a youtube watcher but I'm sure there's other good channels one could post also. Does anyone have experience posting ML videos there? Do they get removed? I've seen some comrades in the comments, so I was thinking maybe with a little special attention from this group we could take up a little space in that sub. Thoughts?

[RAC] SocialistRA discussing communism (China, holodomor, etc) https://www.reddit.com/r/SocialistRA/comments/iev7pi/am_i_the_only_socialist_that_doesnt_support_what/

Seems best to not push socialism with Chinese characteristics but focus on basic dialectial materialism, USSR and Mao type points

[RAC] Perhaps there's some work to be done on this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/NoStupidQuestions/comments/ia3bsn/how_come_governments_can_be_so_openly_corrupt/

In general I find r/nostupidquestions to be full of questions that we can answer. In this case it's possible to start explaining imperialism and the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie.

[RAC] the libs on IronFront are misinterpreting Marxism-Leninism https://www.reddit.com/r/IronFrontUSA/comments/i95iim/post_to_keep_the_tankies_at_bay_they_dont_get/

Remember that IronFront people are libs, they will decry the revolution because it's too violent. I believe here it's worthwhile to expose their leaps of logic (like the many strawmen they made), and explain what Marxism-Leninism actually is. Some other points that I found while browsing the thread: - Xinjiang camps - what's a tankie? - holodomor stuff You will likely get banned, so post as much as you can before that.
