I thought it was a problem with the site or my phone but my work VPN is able to access Mastodon.Social. I was able to use someone's Globe mobile data to access the site and it worked. I was wondering if its an isolated problem with PLDT on my IP block or is the whole service infrastructure having issues connecting to Mastodon.

I've been on Lemmy since 3rd quarter of last year and the two PH communities have always existed. Isn't it about time we merge?

Hello everyone! I'm an ex-redditor who was suspended from the Snoosite on January 6th for apparently harassment, but I clearly didn't do anything that could harass. If you're from r/PH, please follow the rules of your current instance, as well as announcements from lemmy.ml admins. Reddit is on verge of decline and I hope some people from r/PH will find this community useful. Ever since r/Philippines ([source](https://www.reddit.com/r/Philippines/comments/10ffitd/why_is_this_sub_getting_flooded_with_social_media/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)) was turned into a Filipino Facebook spinoff, I found this Lemmy community about my country. This is not what we want to copy Filipino Facebook.
This sounds fabricated just to weaken the accused's credibility in a court of public opinion. Doesn't sound very professional to me.

The DoJ secretary and his brother, current Governor of Cavite, claim they will not use their power to protect the accused.
After 100 days into his presidency, Marcos signs a law for the first time. However, privacy advocates question the details of the law and fear that it may be used to hunt down critics of his administration.
Unsure of how enforceable this is but the more you know, the better.
