The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), a leading force in the Operation 1027 anti-regime offensive, has announced that it will not cooperate militarily or politically with National Unity Government (NUG).
The death toll from massive flooding in Myanmar in the wake of Typhoon Yagi has doubled to 226, as the UN warned as many as 630,000 people could be in need of help. A Myanmar junta aircraft began raining down bombs on residential wards in Hsipaw town, northern Shan State, on Monday amid intense clashes with the ethnic Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA). The ethnic army said a Harbin Y-12 plane dropped over 50 bombs on TNLA-controlled wards in Hsipaw on Tuesday morning alone, killing one resident and burning houses.

Two junta warships advancing to Katha Township [on Irrawady River] from Tigyaing(a.k.a)Htigyaing Township, situated in the Sagaing Region and Kachin State border area, were hit again and are currently stationed at the Thahpankaing jetty in Katha Township, according to members of the local administrative team.
