Lunar - a Lemmy Client for iOS
Posting here because the post on the Kbin magazine hasn’t gained much traction. As I am sure many have heard, the Artemis Project for Kbin is dead in the water. Right now, it looks like Lunar here is the only app that has plans to support Kbin. Are there any updates here? I know Ernest said he was planning to release the API soon. Thanks for all the hard work! The interface is pretty slick and reminds me a lot of Apollo (RIP).

I find that it is hard to follow a conversation when the username is at the bottom of the comment, especially with longish comments. Not only that, but a comment loses context when you don’t have an idea who is making the comment before you read it - having to scroll down to first read the username and then back up to read the comment is not great UX imo. It would be great to have an option to move usernames for comments to the top of the comment.

Thanks to everyone that gave feedback on the first testflight release (0.8.64). The new release (0.8.67) has these changes below. Still waiting on testflight approval for this new version but should be approved shortly and the current testers will be notified. ### Added - Kbin app icon - There is a new logs section that will save errors when interacting with the Lemmy API. If you face a bug, it could be used to see exactly where the error is coming from. You could also share it using the sharesheet and I can take a look. ### Fixed - Many of you have raised that you were unable to login with custom instances. I've now added many more popular lemmy instances as a workaround. The bug fix for custom instances will be coming at a later date. - Added optional values for some of the variables in the site data model as some instances do not for example, use regex filtering. This was causing login problems for some people and should now be fixed. - Potentially fixed the crash caused by changing app icon. Hey! Just a quick update from me. I've created this new community to replace the [lunar_for_lemmy_ios](https://lemmy.world/c/lunar_for_lemmy_ios). I decided to make a change because the old name, lunar_for_lemmy_ios, was a bit messy and hard to type. So, I've created a new community called "[lunar](https://lemmy.world/c/lunar)" - short and sweet. I'll be moving everything over shortly and I'll make sure to keep you all posted on the progress.
