Hockey Players
I play beer league and am trying to get into better shape. I've watched this guy's youtube videos and it seems like his programs would be pretty solid, but I'd rather not spend $150 on it and it turn out to not be very good. I'm mainly looking at his [Next Level Hockey Training 2.0 program](https://nextlevelhockeytraining.com/). I've been doing the Gary Roberts program, but wish there was more weight training since I don't have a great base of strength at the moment.
I skate on asphalt with Labeda Asphalt (orange) and they wear down so fast after a single skate that both sides are down about half the size. I do skate on my edges quite a bit but I didn't expect them to wear down that quickly based on other people's experiences I read online. My wheel setup is two big ones in the middle and smaller first and last.
Like the title says the tape on my stick always wears away first on the heel. Does this mean I need a stick with a different angled blade? Or am I not getting low enough? For reference I'm 198 cm (6'5") and have to add extenders to my stick to make them fit.
