I do this too. I would need them if I lost my phone, so bitwarden/keepass is a good place for them to be.
I think it is less secure though since someone who somehow has the unencrypted vault without your 2FA device could get in with the codes - but if someone cracks my master password I'm screwed in a whole bunch of ways so I'm not sure it matters too much at that point.

Lol having played a lot of Euros this is some good satire. Exceptions to exceptions in parentheses.

Hmm, if this were legal, is it better than the original moxen in 40 and 60 card formats? I think it might be

Could have brought viashino into D&D. They were introduced in MTG in 1998 so could have been added for 3rd edition. I kinda wish they had pulled more of magic's original species into D&D earlier, there are some cool ones.

I know it's part of the joke here, but not a bad time to mention the pyramids weren't built by enslaved workers at all. It was likely dedicated domestic laborers working 3-4 hr days.

If you want to be sure to catch it next year, sub to the Canvas comm on toast.ooo!

Really liking the thematic and mechanical design of the frogs this set.
Also, I feel like the average cost for power and toughness is just really pushed this set. Last time I felt it was this much was Throne of Eldraine. I feel like Commons and Uncommons have hit another powercreep milestone.

Why 5 instances of Searxng? Do you get very different results with each? I pretty much always use the same one..

Sweet, I'll be placing pixels again this year to get us on the Canvas. I feel like we night have fewer active placers than last year but idk. We completed this size fairly early and last year and folks moved to other designs so I bet we can make the same size happen again As for location, we should probably pick a spot after the first hour or so to avoid immediately fighting with another comm

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking forward to these cards evoking little memories of Redwall from 15 years ago. Always loved the badgers and hares in that.
Lumun 3 months ago • 100%
I wonder whether we will be getting Salamandastron references with the badgers. Anybody read the published stories who can tell me?
As for the card, seems like a limited bomb, but I think the colored pips keep it from being standard playable.

Nice. Definitely down to work on the .zip logo again. We were pretty prominent last time, though if Mastodon gets involved, this year will be totally different

Wow one whole year huh. I appreciate having an excellent admin like you. Excited to see where Lemmy and .zip are in another year.

Definitely a huge overlap but mostly just because these are classic and great tropes from English-language literature. I doubt Dune was a major inspiration for WOT.
Aes Sedai - Bene - Moirai/Weird Sisters Moiraine is literally named after the Moirai
Paul/Rand are regular chosen ones with the foreign savior theme of Lawrence/Heart of Darkness added on for good measure

Power creep and all but I genuinely doubt this will see any play in the formats it's legal in. It's miles behind Ragavan on its own and the archetype this fits in is go wide aggro, which loses to the exact board wipes that deal perfectly with this army in a can type card. Playing three of these by turn two and pumping out three extra bodies EOT can win a game of modern but that is not always going to happen.

These data are used for lots of stuff, including guaranteeing rights for protected classes, which in the US includes race.
For example, you could use this info to prove that a redistricting is racist and illegal by showing that it unfairly groups areas of certain ethnicities into one district. Without official census data that includes race, anti-discrimination legislation would be harder to enforce in the courts.

I know the band but never heard about the soccer team. That's really interesting stuff - also I'd guess Kaizer is another form of Caesar making the full name practically nonsense.

Actually pretty wild. This is only the second unconditional black wrath printed for 5 mana or less. And it even has upside. There is arguably better black mass removal but this is simple and should have a lot of demand in Commander at least.
Lumun 8 months ago • 100%
Yeah I was referring to the Hammerskull. It can block all it wants and attack normally a lot of the time. Even the drawback is minor for how absurd those stats are.
Lumun 8 months ago • 100%
Absolutely love that they are adding to the hunted cycle. Those cards are sweet! This feels like it could have been more powerful, now that green is getting 3 mana 6/6s with barely any downside. Also there's that existing black 6/4, Heavy something

I for one am pretty into them making various versions of Evolving Wilds going forward. I always like seeing the new version of Threaten each set and this might become similar.

This doesn't seem accurate at all. The census itself doesn't display this info, is it from their website? Race is self reported so I don't get why a origin map is relevant. Also, the US census does not consider hispanic/Latino to be a racial category. Folks who select that option for ethnicity are ALSO asked to select race seperately.
Lumun 8 months ago • 83%
Yeah that seems right to me too. Source is the census, where Hispanic is an Ethnicity, so unless they excluded White Hispanics for some questionable reason I can't imagine this being accurate.

There are definitely themes in ATLA based on Indian cultures, such as the name of the show itself, but most of the characters are more based on East and Southeast Asian cultures. Dunno why things ended up that way. Lots of the characters are lighter skinned like the actors but Katara and Sokka are definitely exceptions. Both actors are indigenous North American but their animated versions were much darker. As a fan of the show, I think the actors seem like good choices so far but I can see it being seen as lightwashing for sure. Having more South Asian looking characters would feel very normal in-universe so they could do that in later seasons.

This original design has grown since the beginning of the event, mostly through placement by PixeIOrange@lemmy.world and mokpo@lemm.ee I just think it's been cool to watch a design grow that isn't for a fan-group or external logo or previous r/place movement.

In the past, I thought that Paradox marked all except the most recent DLC 50% off - this is how I bought everything before. It looks like that has changed and LoTN is just 20% off even though it released like 10 months ago. Is this something new for immersion packs?
